The Teachers
Yoga was never something that Pauline thought she would enjoy – she had the idea that it was too easy, too slow, that it wasn’t enough for her. And after taking her first class, she was quickly proven wrong. The yoga can be challenging, but also incredible. It opens you up to new things in your body, as well as your mind. It’s a connection that is truly unique to everyone, and it’s really beautiful.
Although Pauline can’t get most of her family members to practice yoga when they visit the city, her amazing fiancé, Cam, can be seen around the studio all the time. Pauline is thrilled to be part-owner of Harvest Yoga Studio with Jess, and is looking forward to future adventures together as business partners and lovers of yoga.
Harvest Yoga Studio was the first place she started building a consistent practice, way back in 2014. Since then, her goals for practice have shifted from purely physical to include the mental and spiritual benefits of yoga.
She loves the community and friends she’s found at Harvest Yoga Studio, as well as the broader yoga community in Lethbridge.
Yoga has given her the opportunity to travel for trainings, including to Bali and twice to India. She is trained in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Tantric Hatha, Yin, Ayurveda, and meditation.
She has trained with the Moksha/Modo International faculty and Ryan Leier and the One Yoga faculty, as well as smaller trainings with Eoin Finn of Blissology, Alan Mileham, Mark Stephens, and YogaFit International. Her studies include hatha, vinyasa, ashtanga, vinyasa krama, Iyengar, yin, myofascial yoga, prenatal, aerial, mindfulness and kid’s yoga.
